Hair Removal, Electrolysis, Waxing in Richmond Hill in Richmond Hill

We use The Sequentium to perform hair removal.

The Sequentium V.M.C uses a sequentially modulated current to deliver more energy to the follicle, allowing more permanent depilation efficiency without any loss of comfort. This technique utilises currents of variable intensity that allow for a perfect setting of your apparatus. A unique choice of programs based on each client's own sensitivity level, answers the specific comfort and efficiency needs of each individual.

When using the Thermolysis technique, the Sequentium V.M.C allows you to choose two types of Sequential modulations.

  1. IN TOLERANCE <1 >: A "Dual-modulation" sequence of current destroys hair-growing basal cells more aggressively, while maintaining a comfort level adequate for clients of average sensitivity. This technique provides above average results in the rapidity of permanent growth reduction.
  2. IN TOLERANCE <0>: The "Simple-modulation" sequence of current gives a superior level of comfort which allows treatment of hypersensitive individuals without loss of treatment efficiency.

The SEQUENTIUM V.M.C also works with three sequentially modulated Blend techniques.

A sequentially modulated galvanic current develops lye more rapidly, with 25% shorter duration times; making this Blend modality the most comfortable in the industry.

  • IN TOLERANCE <1>: A powerful modulated DC current used with both Uni-blend & Pulsed-Blend techniques delivers a large quantity of lye.
    • The UNI-BLEND: This modality uses a very low, modulated HF current, which warms up the lye (DC current) and stimulates its production and caustic power uniformly. This modality is especially designed for face areas and for clients that are sensitive to the HF current.
    • The PULSED-BLEND uses a multiple repeat HF current which will be used mainly for body areas.
  • IN TOLERANCE <0>: The SHORT-BLEND technique was conceived for clients that are sensitive to the galvanic current.

During this modality, the sequentially modulated DC current remains at a very low intensity; lye production is reduced to a minimum. This program is gentle and extremely comfortable. The HF current is stronger to ease hair extraction.

Electrolysis in Richmond Hill

Electrolysis is a way of removing individual hairs from the face or body. Today's medical electrolysis devices destroy the growth center of the hair with chemical or heat energy. A very fine probe is inserted into the hair follicle at the surface of the skin. The hair is then removed harmlessly with forceps.

What causes unwanted hair growth?

Hair growth is the result of heredity and hormonal levels. Also, some drugs, temporary methods of hair removal, and some illnesses can stimulate hair growth. Usually, hair growth is desirable. But when the hair is the wrong part of your body—a woman's upper lip or chin, the hands or arms—you may be considering electrolysis.

How many treatments will I need?

Since many factors influence hair growth, you will need to return for several visits. The total number of sessions needed to remove hair permanently from a particular area will vary from person to person. Most clients return once a week or every other week, as necessary. But the unwanted hair will be gone forever once the series of treatments have been completed. Each treatment lasts between 15 minutes and one hour.

Waxing in Richmond Hill

Waxing is a method of semi-permanent hair removal which removes the hair from the rootcause. New hairs will not grow back in the previously waxed area for two to eight weeks. Almost any area of the body can be waxed, including eyebrows, face, bikini area, legs, arms, back, abdomen and feet. There are many types of waxing suitable for removing unwanted hair. If waxing is done regularly for several years, permanent hair reduction may be achieved.

Waxing is accomplished by spreading a wax combination thinly over the skin. A cloth or paper strip is then pressed on the top and ripped off with a quick movement against the direction of hair growth[1] . This removes the wax along with the hair. Another method utilizes hard wax (as opposed to strip wax). In this case, the wax is applied somewhat thickly and with no cloth or paper strips. The wax then hardens when it cools, thus allowing the easy removal by a therapist without the aid of cloths. This waxing method is very beneficial to people who have sensitive skin.

Types of waxing

Various types of waxing are available. Some must be performed by a licensed cosmetologist or esthetician. The different types of waxing that can be performed are:

  • Eyebrow waxing in Richmond Hill
  • Bikini, Male genital, & Hollywood/Brazilian waxing in Richmond Hill
  • Leg waxing in Richmond Hill
  • Arm/underarm waxing in Richmond Hill
  • Back waxing in Richmond Hill
  • Foot waxing in Richmond Hill
  • Chest waxing in Richmond Hill
  • Entire body wax in Richmond Hill

Most parts of the body can be waxed, but other parts, not listed above are not given special consideration. Areas individuals should never wax include inside the ears and nose as well as eyelashes, eyelids, the palms of the hands, and the soles of the feet. These areas are of particular concern due to sensitive skin that can be severely damaged if waxed. Areas of the body that should only be waxed by a licensed professional include the genitals and the nipples.
